It bothers me what people will say about us, long after we are dead. It is, I suppose, the kind of thing a philosopher would worry about: it’s not clear that there is an answer (which people? when?); and, even if there is, I’ll never know it. Even so, last week, I found an answer of sorts. People will say of us: they backed up their files. And it will be a generalization but, in general, it will be true. Do not fight the tides. Back up your files. Go.
